Hand built from a high firing terracotta clay this wide vessel has carvings and sculpted surfaces inspired by the rock carvings found within Kilmartin Glen, Argyll.
I try to visit this amazing part of the world every year to draw, walk and keep me inspired!
I’ve added clay and carved into the surface of this vessel which has been glazed inside with white and turquoise on the outside. The iron in the clay has formed specks on the surface.
I’ve only made this one.
